Dr. E. Lynn Jacobowitz, Performer
is well known for her comedy, storytelling,
consultations, articles, and cartoons about Deaf culture and humor.
She is also a professor in the Department of
ASL and Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University, Washiongton, D.C.
She provided workshops on ASL, Deaf culture, Deaf folklore,
ASL andragogical/pedagogical methods, and materials for sign language,
education, and interpreter teachers.
She is a co-author of Have You Ever Seen…? An ASL Handshape DVD/Book.
She is also the president of ASL Rose, a collaboration that
creates, publishes and distributes ASL-English bilingual education materials.
